I’m Dr. Christina L. Migliara.
Dr. Migliara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy specialist in the states of New York and Florida, whose qualifications include a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, National Master Addictions Counselor, New York Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, Florida Certified Addictions Professional, Florida State Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and Mental Health Neutral in the Collaborative Divorce Process.
Being a wife and mother of two growing boys, owner of multiple businesses, and finding time for her own mental and physical selfcare, she has a deep understanding of what it takes to balance these roles, while scheduling time and taking care to remember it’s important to still fulfill your life’s potential through maintaining good mental and physical health. Dr. Migliara has always been passionate about helping others to regain charge of their life, guiding individual clients and families even in the toughest times.
Dr. Migliara believes that movement is a major part of the healing process. In addition to being a mental health professional, she is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and a USAW Level 1 Coach. She stays very active at CrossFit Tailwinds, the gym she owns within The Elite Wellness Center and encourages her clients to get out and move.
True wellness is taking care of more than just mental health which is why Dr. Migliara practices at the Elite Wellness Center, a place where individually owned and operated working professionals provide wellness services for a one-stop shop opportunity. As a result, she has a high standard of practice, which in turn allows her clients to get the best quality of personalized service.

Dr. Migliara began her journey with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Psychology. After graduation she moved to New York where she completed her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and earning a Doctorate in Psychology from Capella University. Working in the mental health field over the past 20 years, her practice expanded to include working in inpatient and out-patient addiction facilities, non for profit organizations, private practice, and Department head of Psychology in higher education.
I’m Amanda Ranney, M.S.

Amanda is a Jacksonville native who endorses integrative wellness, holistic health, functional fitness, intuitive living, and combating mental health stigma. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University in 2013, and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University in 2021. Amanda completed her practicum internship experience at the Jacksonville University Student Counseling Center where she provided individual therapy, telehealth, workshops, outreach projects, and sports psychology services for JU students. Daily, she seeks to integrate her training in both physiology + psychology to help others understand and appreciate their humanness as an interconnected system.
Amanda’s counseling philosophy is rooted in the wellness model which sees each person as uniquely capable of healing. Her integrative person-centered style utilizes therapeutic concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Amanda counsels from a trauma-informed lens while aiming to help clients increase their self-awareness, self-compassion, and safety within their own skin.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys frequent trips to the beach, running, swimming, strength training, cooking, reading, journaling, and visiting family. She and her husband love to stay active and travel to explore new places together. Their favorite travel spots include Colorado and Arizona–they got engaged in the Grand Canyon!

Before pursuing a career in mental health, Amanda worked in the fitness and wellness industries as a personal trainer and health coach where she discovered the importance of the mind-body connection. This awareness served as the foundation for her continuing holistic outlook ambitions. Along with previous experience in Run Specialty Retail, she has been coaching high school cross-country for the last 8 years and enjoys helping young athletes of all levels discover their potential while progressing in self-development both inside and outside of their sport. Amanda is actively involved in eating disorder awareness and recovery advocacy and has contributed to both speaking and writing engagements within the eating disorder sector. Research interests include trauma-informed care and exercise/movement integration in the eating disorder recovery model. Her personal victory in eating disorder recovery served as the primary motivating factor for her mental health profession.

Maggie believes that overall health and wellness is key to overall growth and where clients really understand their OWN potential. Maggie focuses on healthy boundaries, relationships and self-care.
Maggie believes that each person’s therapeutic need is different and flexibility is key. Maggie uses an overall health and wellness model as well as techniques and principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
In her spare time, Maggie enjoys CrossFit classes with friends, Olympic weightlifting, the beach, traveling to Hawaii to spend time with her significant other, golf, being with friends and family and trying new activities.

Maggie is from Rochester, New York and moved to Jacksonville at 7 years old. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida and finished her Master of Science in Professional Counseling with emphasis in trauma from Grand Canyon University in 2020. Maggie completed her practicum internship in the emergency department of Baptist Medical Center Downtown, conducting crisis assessments and post- masters internship on an inpatient pediatric crisis unit at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and in the outpatient setting with Wolfson and Baptist Behavioral Health.
